The Work-Based Learning (WBL) Program at Foothills Regional High School is a journey of success. It's a continuum of awareness, exploration, preparation, and training that develops employability and technical skills, supporting students in their careers and postsecondary education. Through structured learning and authentic work experiences, students can bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world applications, making the transition to the workforce or higher education seamless.
The WBL Program at Foothills Regional High School is designed to provide students with the support they need to succeed. By working an approved job, students can earn credits and develop the employability and technical skills necessary for career success and postsecondary education. Structured learning assignments and authentic work experiences are implemented to ensure that students are well-prepared and can earn up to three (3) credits, a testament to their hard work and dedication.
Requirements:
- You must be at least 15 years of age.
- You must have earned at least one (1) CTAE/elective credit before enrolling.
