What is Foothills?

Foothills is an accredited public high school that empowers students to earn their high school diploma in a non-traditional setting. Designed for students who may not have found traditional high school to be a good fit, need to catch up, or wish to accelerate, Foothills provides a supportive and caring environment that fosters success.

With 16 in-person locations and a fully online virtual campus, Foothills offers a flexible, free-to-attend program with year-round access to coursework. Students benefit from small class sizes, technology-based learning with teacher support, and the ability to start at any time without repeating completed courses.

The school’s commitment to student success is further demonstrated through weekly one-on-one mentor meetings, individualized tutoring, attendance incentives, and access to Workforce Ready Programs. Students also have the opportunity for dual enrollment, earning college credit while still in high school, and receiving comprehensive support from counselors and social workers to ensure their academic, social, and emotional well-being.
